What is Ahla Beit?
Ahla Beit (أحلى بيت) is a property portal for Lebanon. It lists homes for sale and rent on a map, one listing per home, with prices in US dollars set against the median price per m² of the area. A home marked Verified has photos the listing agency took on site, which we checked were taken at the home's pin. It is built for people who do not know anyone in Lebanon, including Lebanese living abroad who want to see exactly where a home is before they spend anything.

Can I buy a home in Lebanon from abroad?
Yes. Foreigners and Lebanese living abroad can buy in Lebanon, with limits on the area a foreigner may own. Our guide to buying from abroad explains video tours, the papers to check, the costs, power of attorney and a checklist, each with a dated source.
What does Verified mean on Ahla Beit?
A Verified home has photos taken on site by the agency that lists it. We check the phone was within 250 m of the home's pin when they were taken. The badge lasts 180 days and then has to be earned again. A home without the badge has not been verified yet.
Does it cost anything to look for a home?
No. Searching, the map and the price pages are free. Brokers and private owners can list for free, and buyers write to them on WhatsApp.

All of it: the 8 governorates, 26 districts and every town, with the median price per m² by area wherever there is data.
